We provide the very best in treatments for your hair and skin using beautiful plant based products that are certified cruelty-free. We are proud members of Sustainable Salons so at least 95% of our salon waste is recycled instead of sitting in landfill.

muk.Haircare – gorgeous, vibrant colours that last, fantastic electrical equipment and healthy maintenance products for in between your salon visits. muk is an Australian company specialising in cruelty-free products.
Pure by Hairjamm- an Australian company that provides beautiful natural cruelty-free home maintenance products. Their entire range is sulphate, paraben and gluten free as well as being 100% certified organic.
Muvo – a high-performing range of luxurious coloured shampoos and conditioners as well as nourishing treatments full of Australian native botanicals that add moisture and provide UV protection against our harsh sun. Muvo products are researched, developed, manufactured and packed right here in Australia.
Eminence Organic Skincare – beautiful hand made organic skincare from Hungary that delivers exceptional results. This is a company that takes its environmental responsibilities seriously – they plant a tree for every product sold, their packaging is recycled and printed with vegetable dye and they donate organic food to children’s hospitals around the world.
Inika Cosmetics – an Australian company that produces gorgeous cruelty-free, organic vegan makeup that is great news for your skin and the environment as well as our animal friends.
Our hairstylists are highly skilled at using their artistic talents together with the latest techniques to create the perfect look for you. We offer all hair services including cuts, foils and balayage, hair extensions, colours and perms.
Our experienced beauty therapists are available for all of your facial and beauty needs. Specialising in facials, we also offer a full range of beauty services including massage, waxing, manicures and pedicures, lash lifts and lash and brow tinting.
Our team of hair stylists and beauty therapists participate in regular ongoing education so they can offer you the latest in treatments and home-care advice
FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH FUNDRAISERS
Our Saturdays are now dedicated to a charity or movement that has special meaning to our salon or clients.
We have chosen Edgars Mission as the recipient of our fundraiser on Saturday 3rd June.
This charity is a sanctuary for rescued farm animals that has been providing quality care for these often forgotten and neglected animals for 20 years.
If this cause is important to you please book an appointment for Saturday 3rd June or pop in on the day to purchase a product or Gift Voucher.

The loss of income that we have experienced in the last few months from people either not showing up or ringing on the day to move their appointment has had a serious negative impact on our business.
Standard practice in the hair and beauty industry is for clients to pay a small deposit when they make their booking. This is a system we have managed to avoid until now.
When you book with us online you will now be asked for a 20% deposit on most services.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel your appointment your deposit will be refunded if you give us 48 hours notice. Alternatively we’re happy to move your appointment to another time and apply your deposit to that visit.
Rescheduling: We’re very flexible with appointment changes when given 48 hours notice as this gives us enough time to fill the vacancy. If you reschedule with less than 48 hours notice your deposit will be retained by us to partially cover the cost of wages for our team. If we happen to be able to fill the gap with a new booking your deposit will be transferred to your next appointment instead of us keeping it. Please note that we are closed on Sundays, Mondays and most Saturdays. If you have an appointment on a Tuesday or Wednesday that you need to move please notify is by email or message us on Facebook, Instagram or Google. Phone messages left over the weekend won’t be heard by us until Tuesdays which gives us no time to fill the vacancy. This will result in the loss of your deposit.
No-Shows: If you fail to attend your appointment for any reason without contacting us or you arrive too late for us to provide the treatment that you booked your deposit will not be refunded and you may be asked for a 50% deposit if you rebook with us, depending on the circumstances.

We’re making a change to your colour service selections so we can continue to deliver the beautiful colours that you love while ensuring that we’re doing everything possible to create minimal stress and damage to the hair. It’s an unfortunate fact that colouring your hair can result in frizz, breakage and dryness so we’re adding a nourishing Treatment to every colour service to minimise the risk of this happening.
We realise that including a Treatment as standard is an extra cost to you – even though you’ll definitely see the value – so we’ve reduced the price.
STANDARD TREATMENT
This nourishing, hydrating Treatment takes no more time at the basin than a conditioner but the benefits are huge. We’ve dropped the price to $14.50
DELUXE TREATMENT
This is the Rolls Royce of Treatments. After application and a divine scalp massage, a warm towel is placed over the hair to infuse the Treatment even deeper and left on for up to 15 minutes before being rinsed. Allow an extra 15 -20 minutes from just $31.
WHAT DOES A TREATMENT DO?
When a colour is applied to the hair the cuticles open up to allow the colour inside the strand. The purpose of a Treatment is to pack the hair strand with nutrients and then close the cuticles tightly, trapping the nutrients and the colour inside the hair. The result is hair that’s soft, shiny, smooth and healthy.
WHY CAN’T YOU JUST USE A CONDITIONER?
A conditioner has a similar function when used after shampoo – the shampoo opens the hair cuticles so the dirt can be released and then the conditioner adds nutrients and closes the cuticles again. The difference is that when a colour is applied it temporarily alters the structure of the hair. A Treatment will penetrate deeper into the strands to better restore the hair’s structure as well as locking the cuticles down much tighter than a conditioner can. This results in a longer lasting colour and shine & greatly minimises the risk of breakage and frizz.

As members of Sustainable Salons we’ve been recycling more than 95% of our salon waste for the last 3 years. We love the fact that we’re not contributing to landfill with items like foil, plastic, chemicals and hair all being recycled in useful and imaginative ways. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so you can fill out a Consultation Form and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea before your treatment.
Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years however if the price of our services are increased during that time you will be required to pay the difference for the service.
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash or products. They are for services only.
If you have a gift voucher and fail to attend your appointment you will forfeit the voucher.
If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice you will forfeit the voucher. If you are unexpectedly unable to attend it is advised that you send someone else in your place to enjoy the service so the voucher is not wasted.
If you arrive late for your appointment your service will be cut short so the client booked in after you is not inconvenienced however the voucher will still be redeemed for the original service booked. If time permits, the entire service will be provided.
We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of hair and beauty bookings. If you need to move or cancel your appointment please give us 48 hours notice so we can offer your timeslot to another guest. Obviously there are circumstances that can make 48 hours notice impossible to give so at those times please let us know as soon as you can.
No-Shows and Late Arrivals – If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment you may be asked for a deposit of 50% when rebooking, depending on the circumstances and the service booked. If you arrive late for your appointment we may need to cut your service short so the client booked in after you is not inconvenienced however you will still be charged for the original service booked. If time permits the entire service will be provided.
Deposits – We now require deposits for most services as follows: New Clients and Occasional Clients – 25% Regular Clients – 15%. Deposits will be rolled over to your next appointment if you give us 48 hours notice that you need to reschedule. No-Shows and cancellations/rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit their deposit. Clients who book online will be contacted so we can take your deposit over the phone.
